(Boursier.com) -- Osiatis, a leading French IT services company, confirms its positioning on New Technology Development, particularly in infrastructure associated applications, and announces the acquisition of application development business goodwill in France of BT Global Services, a division of BT Group PLC.
This division brings together around 100 employees, 80% of which are engineers, and more specifically experts in Java J2EE and Microsoft.Net development. This should generate potential annual sales of approximately EUR 8 million.
This acquisition is in line with Osiatis' strategy of targeted acquisitions. The Group has thus strengthened its application engineering resources, which brings the total to almost 300 employees in the Paris region and more than 600 across France. As a result of this transaction, Osiatis has also increased its market share in key accounts in the Banking /Insurance, Telecommunications and Utilities sectors.
This acquisition will be reflected in Osiatis' financial statements as of 1 June.
